Playhard Playground Installation & Construction is a family owned and operated business. Founded on safety and always striving for perfection, we pride ourselves in making sure everything we do is safe for our family and yours. Playhard has been servicing the state of Arizona since 1993. We started out installing out of a pick up truck with a small client base. Working for Playhard off and on since 1996, Glenn Mitchell became managing partner and 50% owner of Playhard Playground Installation in 2004. He added a larger client base and started installing jobs outside the state of Arizona, installing play structures, site furnishings, shades, ramadas and much more. In 2011 Glenn and wife Stephanie became the sole owners of Playhard Playground Installation. With the support of Michael and Crystal Dugan along with Heather Cooper, the company continued to grow.
Knowing that there was more potential for growth and to make the business more successful The Playhard Team started reaching out to a larger customer base and added mezzanines, concrete work, grading, and much more to their services. In 2017 the name Playhard Playground Installation Inc. was changed to Playhard Playground installation & Construction, offering a wide span of services and playground construction from start to finish. We have extensive experience with all makes and manufacturers of park and recreation play structures and equipment. Certified, licensed, bonded and insured we are here for your commercial playground construction needs!
In 2012 Stephanie founded The Playhard Project, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. This project was created to provide scholarships to children that want to participate in sports programs but are unable to do so due to the costs. There are several families out there today that are unable to provide the financial means needed to place their children in mainstream and/or school sports. Sports are crucial to youth development promoting a healthy mind and body, better self-esteem, respect, discipline, sportsmanship, team building, and keeping kids out of trouble. Providing funds to children would not be possible without the donations and help from our community.
